Am I fit to be a writer?

One day, I tried writing a story
and showed it to my one and only friend that understands me.
She make fun of me and the story that I wrote.
She said it's a piece of crap and no one will read it.
I don't understand why she did that.
She also wrote stories.
I know that she's better, I mean far more better than myself, but why didn't she help me correct my mistakes?
I love writing stories, because they express what I feel, but I don't continue them because I know someone will make fun of me, if they accidentally read it.
Will I continue writing stories or not?
